We are thrilled to share that Adaptive Adventures’ work has been selected as a Finalist for the 5th Annual Anthem Awards in the Category of Local Community Engagement for our Puerto Rico Adaptive Recreation Program!
The Anthem Awards is the largest and most comprehensive social impact award, celebrating meaningful work across five key areas—Awareness, Fundraising, Community Engagement, Product, Innovation & Service, and Team & Internal Initiatives—for seven causes: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Education, Art & Culture; Health; Human & Civil Rights; Humanitarian Action & Services; Responsible Technology; and Sustainability, Climate & Environment. By amplifying the voices that spark global change, the Anthem Awards define a new benchmark for impactful work that inspires others to take action in their own communities.
This recognition honors the incredible growth of our veteran-led Puerto Rico program, which now delivers over 130 programs annually, serving more than 400 unique veterans and providing over 2,200 participant experiences each year. What began with a single trailer of adaptive bikes has evolved into a thriving, multi-sport community that embodies resilience, belonging, and joy across the island.
